Dream a movie about the first dance and first love with beautiful songs in the background.
Although the steps of the girl( Jennifer Grey) dancing moves in Keds shoes which became famous in the 80s, may seem like a faulty costume choice in a movie for the early 60s, however these little details are main reason how the movie touched us deeply , and connected us to the time that we lived in.
If you are a member of Gen Y team like me, there will be no doubt that you have already seen this movie. If you haven't heard anything , probably you could been a Gen Z which is great( You have plenty time to catch up ) I would like to recommend this movie which inspires all generations and many romantic movies. After you watch Dirty Dancing , it will be possible to catch references, figure new version of iconic scenes out, quotes or songs.
Besides , the original soundtrack album went on to sell millions of copies worldwide and is one of the best-selling albums of all time

On the other hand, we feel the same energy via walking scene that through the hall to the stage in Glee ( S2.E9 )
Although the Catskills name is not mentioned in the movie, we find out the same energy of Kellerman Resort with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Season 2), and realize how much influence us , and screenwriters (Like Mrs. Maisel’s secret performance in another resort )
According to me , if you haven't watched this movie yet, you should add it to your must-seen list right before beginning the Romance-comedy genre.
The unforgettable Patrick Swayze touched our hearts with two films: Dirty Dancing and Ghost. I guess it’s impossible without mentioning this valuable actor who passed away in 2009. (Chosen one of 55 celebrities loved by US in 2010, People Magazine)
